Vintage Notes
The grapes were sourced from vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA of Monterey County, where high winds and bay fog create one of the longest growing seasons in the world, ideal for cool-climate grapes. The long growing season allows the grapes a longer maturation time and development of true varietal characteristics. The wine was fermented in stainless steel and chilled before fermentation was complete, allowing the wine to retain a small amount of residual sugar.
Tasting Notes
Brass Tacks Riesling offers crisp clean notes of fresh peach, honey and apricot with mineral qualities and bright acidity.

"This would be a wonderful wine even if it cost a little more. As it is, it’s a steal. Shows refined apricot, peach, lychee, mineral and floral flavors, finished with brisk, mouthwatering acidity, and an absolutely dry finish. One of the best Riesling values available in Cailfornia, and a tremendous cocktail wine. Just 600 cases were produced."
